The public is invited to our monthly membership meetings which feature programs on topics related to sea turtles. Meetings are held at the Melbourne Beach Community Center on the first Thursday of the month, except during the summer and December when the General Membership Meeting is held for elections.

In the STPS “Sea Turtle House” / educational center, there are life-size replicas of sea turtles and other educational displays and materials.

Turtle Talk

Turtle Talk is a presentation offered by STPS Education Volunteers.

The class is free and open to the public. Turtle Talks are scheduled throughout the year and at various locations throughout Brevard County.

You can register online or as a walk-in 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the class. The presentation begins promptly at the scheduled time and will last about an hour and a half with a question and answer period following.

Completion of the Turtle Talk presentation is a basic requirement for volunteers who are interested in participating in the STPS programs and is a prerequisite for any volunteer activity involving hands on work with turtles.

f you have not taken “Turtle 101″ or our new “Turtle Talk” in the past you will need to take Turtle Talk also.
