A quick update on Apollo
By Dean Bagley, UCF Marine Turtle Research Group

Hello all!
Happy Anniversary to Apollo! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get this update out yesterday, but sending it on the anniversary might be more appropriate….
Apollo may have found his foraging area, directly south of Geiger Key, but more readily identified as just a bit east of Boca Chica Key, which is east of Key West. He arrived in this area on July 16, 2019, and is beginning to set up a pattern. It might turn out to be a day-night pattern, sleeping on the reef, but I think I’d like to see some more hits before a say that for sure. Stay tuned; I’ll send the regular update next week.
