Count Down to Turtle Krawl 5K!

The 2023 Turtle Krawl 5K is almost here! This event is our most important fundraising event of the year and provides needed funds to continue our organization’s education and conservation programs. All race proceeds benefit our mission to help sea turtles survive.
Don’t forget to sign up for the race at: Turtle Krawl 5K Registration. This year, all race participants will be entered in a giveaway for:
- Two gift certificates for an Open Water Certification Class at American Divers International in Merritt Island! Valued at $559 each.
- Four admission tickets to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! Valued at $300.
Other amenities include:
- Beautiful sublimated original t-shirts shirts featuring original artwork by local artist “Nemo” – guaranteed to first 1,500 registrants.
- Sea turtle medals for age group winners 3 places deep.
- Participant medals presented at the finish line.
- Free reusable bags presented by Mercedes Benz of Melbourne.
- Ice-cold washcloths for finishers.
- Free Kid’s Run with prizes for all participants.
- Free refreshments after the race.
- Finish line DJ spinning great tunes!
- Electronic race timing (net times) and course management provided by Running Zone.
- Free photos with the STPS mascot, Lucy the Loggerhead!
Also, we still need VOLUNTEERS for race day! Remember, volunteering for the Turtle Krawl is open for non-STPS volunteers, and we are happy to accept student volunteers looking for community service hours.
