Jack and Apollo on the move
By Dean Bagley, UCF Marine Turtle Research Group

Jack has continued to make his way down the Keys, and was just heading into Marquesas waters on the Boca Grande Channel side at 4:40 in the morning on July 8, 2019. We’ll see whether he chooses to hang out in the channel or decides he likes west of the Marquesas where the Inwater Research Group captures adult green turtles. He gave us a beautiful track down the coast of Florida, and it will be fun to see where he settles.
Apollo continues to make his way down the coastline, and was just about opposite Port Everglades at his last location at 1:35 p.m. on July 7, 2019.
I’ll try to send another map soon since Apollo is still migrating.
