STPS Fall 2026 Turtle Times Newsletter
Find out what’s been happening at STPS in our Fall newsletter. It’s got lots of great pictures from our recent Turtle Krawl 5K plus a sneak peek inside our new Turtle House. Check out everything our volunteers have been doing including sea turtle rescues, community events, nest inventories (shown above), educational outreach, volunteer gatherings, and more. You’ll also meet volunteer Debra McPherson in our Volunteer Spotlight, learn about our last two meetings, and see what events are coming up later this year. See some of our upcoming events below.
STPS November 5th Meeting
Be sure to join us at our November meeting where we’ll welcome guest speaker Heather Stapleton who is the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program. Heather has worked with sea turtles in the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge for many years and will be giving us a presentation called “My Plastic Diet.”
Reminder: No STPS Meeting in October.
