Ready, Set, … Turtle Krawl

It’s less than a week until this year’s Turtle Krawl 5K event, which supports the Sea Turtle Preservation Society’s mission to help sea turtles survive.
STPS appreciates the support that our not-for-profit organization receives from the event sponsors, donors, participants, and volunteers.
All race proceeds benefit the Sea Turtle Preservation Society’s mission to protect sea turtles and their habitats. In past years, funds raised have supported the Brevard Zoo’s Sea Turtle Healing Center as well as STPS programs and activities, including rescue and transport of injured sea turtles, nesting surveys, night walks and other educational outreach programs as well as satellite transmitters for the UCF marine turtle research program.
Here’s how you can be part of this year’s Turtle Krawl:
Register to participate in either the virtual or live race. The live event will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in Nance Park in Indialantic, FL. Both the virtual and live options include our well loved sea turtle design shirt featuring artwork by local artist Nemo.
Adopt a hatchling, nest, or stranded turtle. These symbolic adoptions include a packet with an adoption certificate and educational materials. The Turtle Krawl adoptions and donations program provides an opportunity to support local sea turtle conservation for those who do not wish to register for the race.
Sponsorship opportunities also are available for those businesses and individuals wishing to show their support of STPS and sea turtle conservation.

Thank you for helping sea turtles survive.
