Our 2026 Turtle Krawl 5K medal celebrates the 40th Anniversary of STPS.

Thanks to ALL of Our Wonderful Race Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of our annual Turtle Krawl 5K. Thanks to all our Turtle Krawl 5K volunteers for all their hard work on this year’s race.

YOU’RE AWESOME!!!

Many thanks also to our Turtle Krawl 5K Team including Race Director Jeff Gazaway, Volunteer Coordinator Sandy Cuddeback, Former Race Director Cyndi Stinson, Former Volunteer Coordinator Silvia Bryan, Sponsorship Coordinator Robin Courtney, Social Media Coordinator Kris Marvin, and Treasurer Kathy LeBresco.

Thank you to everyone who helped with pre-race activities including inspecting the shirts and medals, getting virtual packets ready for mailing and pick up, giving out race packets at Running Zone, baking muffins for the runners, picking up the food and beverages and bringing them to the race, and accepting muffins at our new Turtle House.

Also, thanks to all the volunteers who helped at the race from the anthem singer, the photographers, Lucy the Loggerhead mascot, and course marshals to those who picked up ice, set up tables and tents, helped with parking, put up banners, got breakfast ready, assisted our sponsors, helped at the STPS Education, Night Walks, and Stranding/Transport tables, gave out race packets, checked in volunteers, gave water to the runners, helped with the mile-split clocks, kept the grounds clean, gave runners cold towels, helped with the children’s run, exchanged and sold shirts, gave out finisher medals and awards, returned tables to Running Zone, and took all the supplies back to storage.
