Thanks for a Wonderful Shell-a-Bration!

Wow! What a Wonderful Evening!

Our Cruisin’ for Conservation fundraiser was a fabulous success! Not only did the event sell out, but we exceeded our fundraising goal! Thanks to all our members, volunteers, supporters and friends for helping us celebrate 40 amazing years.

The evening was filled with so many special moments. Live music was provided by Beaux Patrick & Friends. They performed a special sea turtle song composed by volunteer Beaux with lyrics by Volunteer Co-Coordinator Kris Marvin (see photos below). The live and silent auctions and 50/50 raffle were a big hit with the crowd and our mascot Lucy the Loggerhead (with volunteer Lisa Lojewski inside) welcomed guests and took photos with them throughout the night (see photos above and below). Special thanks also to volunteer Don Beauch who assisted Lisa getting around the museum in her costume. At the end of the evening, guests received a goodie bag of treats which included a beautiful commemorative 40^th anniversary coin (shown below).

Special thanks to all our volunteers who helped with the event. From the 40^th Anniversary Fundraiser Committee who spent months planning the event, to the event-night volunteers who checked in our guests, sold raffle tickets, helped with the live and silent auctions, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks also to Dean Bagley, Janet Hochella, and other STPS lifetime members for celebrating this special milestone with us. And last but not least, thanks to the American Muscle Car Museum for hosting our fundraiser and owner Mark Pieloch for conducting the VIP tour and live auction.
