All-Hands-on-Deck! Volunteers Pack Up the Turtle House for Our Big Move to Satellite Beach
Everyone knows our volunteers are wonderful and they never let us down. Thanks to everyone who answered the call to pack up the Turtle House for our move on August 19th. We expected that we’d need three days to do the job, but our amazing volunteers got it done in just two sessions! See our packing volunteers above and below. In addition, we received big, stackable, plastic bins from volunteer Sandy and lots of boxes and packing paper from volunteer Jen.
Thank You!!!

Preserving STPS Memories
Did you know that our gift shop and Education Center were at the Indialantic location for over twenty years? It was filled with lots of memories from our long, 40-year history. For example, see the Sea Turtle Preservation Society sign on the left in the background in the photo above? It’s from the 1990’s. In addition, we have many years of framed Turtle Krawl art by Michael “Nemo” Nemnich. Check out the Turtle Krawl artworks from 2001 through 2008 below. Of course, our volunteers took great care packing these – carefully wrapping them in bubble wrap or packing paper, placing them in boxes, and marking them FRAGILE. Thanks for taking such good care of our STPS heirlooms!
